Awesome place in Addison owners and staff are very friendly.. skirt steak is very tender and full of flavor
Well, that was a thoroughly disappointing meal. Even though I'm always in this area, I was never really thrilled about coming here based on all the negative and so-so reviews. However, we were hanging out with some friends and one of my friends claimed they've gotten "better" so I figured ah what the heck!
Came here for lunch this past Sunday and since I wasn't that hungry, I just did the half sandwich and soup. I got the cream of chicken & rice soup which I usually love in most places because it's hard to get wrong but guess what, they did. It had lemon in it so it had a bit of a strange taste but salt and pepper made it a tad "better" I suppose.
I got the Turkey sandwich as my half sandwich. The Turkey was dry and bland and the bread was some normal slices of wheat bread (the cheapest loaf you'd get from Walmart) so it was easily soggy from the sandwich condiments. So needless to say, I was a bit upset at my "sandwich". My wife got the buffalo chicken salad which didn't even look appealing but was stupid expensive. Sadly, won't be returning nor recommending this place.
I've been to this place a handful of times and every time it's just typical diner food with slow waitresses with zero personality. Their food is good a bit overpriced for the type of style this place is . They have different dinner specials and breakfast specials daily which is nice one of my favorite dinner specials is there chop Suey surprisingly. The owner is always around which I like to see in an establishment, and they have cakes and pastries at the front if you're interested in that type of stuff. This place is good if you're in the area but no reason to go out of your way to come to this place.
This place is horrible. I really wish i could give a star. My husband and i with a group came Sunday around brunch time. There was not many people there. they was very slow with our order and the server was ok.
My husband order a half sandwich with soup of the day. First she came out with soup, my husband stated that it was interesting because they added lemon to the cream of chicken and rice. Then she brought it his sandwich. Wrong sandwich!!! He wanted trukey not chicken salad. What made the sandwich may nasty, the trukey was dry and bland.
I order the buffalo chicken chicken salad. How could they get wrong?!!! They did!!! I had old avocado, chicken barley had buffalo sauce, cucumbers was old and mushy. This salad was nasty! To top it off it wasn't worth $13.
We had some friends with us. They got fruit with their order and the fruit was old and not fresh. Their eggs was cold. The steak look like a hamburger patty.
This place is HORRIBLE. DON'T COME TO THE PLACE!!!
Such a disappointment. Food was terrible, steak fajita was so greasy it wasn't edible, avacadao on my BLT was old, yellow and hard as a rock. Pickles weren't even pickled yet. Food was sent back and the waitress didn't even comp us for the returned, uneaten steak fajita. It used to be such a great place, not anymore. Yuk.
